III. Make-up Work
In the event of an excused absence, students are to make up any work missed within three days. If, however, you are absent the day a project is due, that assignment is due the day you return to school. If you miss an exam or quiz, it will be made-up during your study block or after school. If there is an unexcused absence, you must make arrangements with Ms. Tonelson or Mrs. Conrad to make up an assignment.
IV. Special Assignments
You will be given long-term projects. These assignments often assess many objectives of a unit and, therefore, are weighted accordingly. With some assignments we will require a contract to be signed by a parent/guardian. All special assignments will be introduced with a separate expectation handout and grading rubric. An example of the project will be modeled in class to serve as inspiration only!
